Pacitan famous for its beaches and Goa is often the location
of choice for tourists. Not infrequently many who ask among the many beaches,
which beach can be used for Snorkeling? If viewed from the geographical
location is the beach - the beach in Pacitan cannot be used as a means of
Snorkeling due to the famous south coast waves malignant, and rows of beaches in
rare pacitan who have a breakwater waves like those on some beaches in Gunung
Kidul. But now the question has been answered, is Siwil Beach that offers
beauty not only on beautiful beaches and white sand but also the waves are not
too big so it can be used for Snorkeling. Why are the waves on this beach not
as big as the other beaches in Pacitan? Because the location of this beach is
in a bay, the sea that jutted into the mainland. So that resulted in the waves
that come has a smaller current when it arrives at the beach.
Siwil beach is divided into 2 separate parts by small row of
hills, in the north or the first time you enter the beach area there will be a
Marine Park like in Bunaken. Mangrove trees that grow around the beach and the
combination of coral and seaweed plants make this marine park much used as
'home' for small fish and other marine biota. Here visitors can swim to dive
safely. And if you intend to dive this estuary then prepare the diving
equipment from the house because in this place do not search for a rental place
dive, to look for toilets and food stalls was quite difficult, because it is
not well managed and still rarely visited by tourists.
For those who intend to snorkel at the beach Siwil it's good
to come in the afternoon until the afternoon because the sun will help us see
the situation in the sea water. The water around the mangroves will be slightly
greenish, it is caused by mud deposits and the accumulation of organic matter.
Although the waves at this location are not large and tend to be small but it's
good for visitors to remain cautious, especially if with children the role of
parental supervision remains a very important thing.
To go to Siwil Beach can use 4 wheeled vehicles only more
comfortable to use 2-wheeled vehicles. Route road to Siwil Beach is from the
direction of Pacitan city towards the east past JLS to reach Soge Beach, to
Siwil Beach you have to continue the journey again. Then turn right in an
alley. The alley is in the west (before) gang Entrance to TPP Tawang Beach if
from the west. Enter the alley then follow the road until stuck, then continue
on foot through the path if you see the right T-junction. Then just follow the
road it will arrive at Siwil Beach. Access from the Ngadirojo highway to Siwil
beach is still quite difficult to access with 4-wheeled vehicles but close
enough, from the highway and then through the village or house residents.
Welcoming palm trees waving, while on the left and right side there are swamps
until finally reached the estuary (Location Siwil Beach).
